For over 50 years, the International Association of Orofacial Myology (IAOM) volunteers have worked to advance the field of orofacial myology through education, certification, and research. Our annual convention is our largest event that helps our Non-Profit to continue its mission. This is scheduled to take place October 13-15, 2023, at the Gila River Resort and Casino in the greater Phoenix, AZ area (Chandler, AZ). Each year our convention brings speech-language pathologists, dental hygienists, dentists, orthodontists, and other allied and licensed health care providers involved in treating orofacial myofunctional disorders together. Even during the height of the pandemic, our 2021 convention drew in an impressive 293 attendees. With our growing membership base and high-caliber speaker lineup, we are preparing for an even greater turnout in 2023. As the oldest and largest non-profit orofacial myology organization, we have nearly 1,000 members across 11 countries and are continuing to grow! We have a wide reach on social media and our website. Our website averages 3,000 unique visitors a month, and as of January 2022, we have over 7,000 followers across our social media platforms.
