A Continuum In Sleep-Related Disorders and Health Solutions – Hands-on / Limited Attendance
This University-based program will involve problem-based learning through a combination of lectures, online content, case presentations, and hands – on experience. The breadth of this educational series will examine the physiological etiology of sleep related disorders and the potential strategies for treatment. Be prepared to expand your mind and ultimately help your patients.
Participants will begin with the initial patient experience that encompasses a review of the process for screening, examination, testing and comprehensive evaluation. This will proceed to the coverage of treatment options, exploring the benefits and conceivable issues for each modality. The curriculum will also consist of a detailed narrative on office set up and billing for the Sleep Related Disorder patient.
The Course will consist of 65 hours of live CE at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine and 18 hours of online CE.
Participants who successfully complete the requirements of the course will be eligible to apply for Diplomate Status with the American Board of Physiological Medicine and Dentistry.
All program attendees will receive a Proficiency Certificate from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in Dental Sleep-Related Conditions (contingent on completing all requirements).
