Dr. Steven J. Bock has been practicing complementary and integrative medicine for over 40 years. He has treated tick borne disease for over 35 years, utilizing the ILADS (International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society) approach by combining complementary and integrative medicine. He attended New York Medical College and received his M.D in 1971. He was a diplomate of the Academy of Acupuncture and the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. Dr. Bock’s medical practice merges traditional medicine with alternative and complementary medicine, combines acupuncture, homeopathy, herbals, functional, nutritional, and environmental medicine into an integrated medical model for optimal wellness. He is in private practice and has offices in Rhinebeck and Albany NY. He periodically provides consults in Los Angeles as well. He is the president elect of ILADS and has been a member of the ILADS board of directors for the last four years, and is a chairman of the medical education committee. He is a member of Antonio Delgado’s health advisory committee.
Stay Young the Melatonin Way was Dr. Bock’s first book, it was published in 1995 by Dutton. He also co-authored two books, Natural Relief of Your Child’s Asthma, published in 1999 by Harper Collins, and The Germ Survival Guide, published in 2003 by McGraw-Hill. Dr. Bock has written for local and national newspapers, and lectured nationally and internationally. He has appeared on local and national media, including ABC news 20/20, as well as other radio and television programs.
