The Treatment of Sleep Apnea with an Implanted Neuro-Stimulator: A Collaborative Approach

January 29, 2019 @ 9:00 pm - 10:00 pm EST

Patients with moderate to severe sleep apnea who found CPAP therapy not effective and oral appliance therapy not indicated had only one available option: surgery. Now there is another option – an implanted neuro-stimulator that reacts to changes in breathing and gently stimulates the muscles of the upper airway. Learn how this new device is being used as part of a team treatment approach.
