Craniofacial Pain: Multifaceted Approach to Care – Charles Ferzli, DDS + Kim Ledermann, DDS, MS

December 10 @ 9:00 pm - 10:00 pm EST

From a biopsychosocial approach, treating TMJ problems infers multiple causalities and treatment choices. A holistic and collaborative care approach helps patients achieve meaningful relief and long-term stability by guiding thoughtful, well-coordinated care. This webinar discusses how to evaluate TMDs and airways using a collaborative treatment planning and a patient-centered approach, coordinating care across disciplines.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

  • Learners will understand the steps involved in performing a complete TMJ evaluation
  • Learners will be exposed to developing evidence-informed, individualized treatment plans
  • Learners will demonstrate effective communication strategies—such as shared documentation, case conferencing, and patient-centered goal setting—to coordinate care across disciplines
