Physiological Dentistry & Obstructive Sleep Apnea Treatment

Drs. Jeffrey S. Hindin & John H. Tucker will present a unique way of practicing dentistry based on the patient’s physiology and airway health. Various screening, treatment options, and bite registrations for oral appliance therapy for the OSA patient will be discussed based on HRV (Heart Rate Variability).
Participants will learn the following:

♦ Treatment options for the PAP intolerant OSA patient
♦ Appliance designs for treatment of the PAP intolerant OSA patient
♦ What is Heart Rate Variability (HRV) and how does impact treatment ♦ Developing treatment plans based on function and physiology
♦ Evaluating patient complaints and relation to overall health
♦ Evaluating sleep studies and the results for treatment
♦ Creating plans for practice flow with sleep and TMD patients
