The AAPMD believes dental hygienists are uniquely positioned to bridge dentistry and medicine — helping move healthcare from siloed treatment to true collaborative, whole-person care.

To support this expanded role, AAPMD is partnering with Sharp Again to launch a special pilot program that equips dental hygienists with the tools and training to serve as effective screeners, communicators, connectors, and advocates — integrating airway, sleep, inflammation, and brain health into coordinated care pathways across dentistry and medicine.

As a dental hygienist, you are invited to take advantage of this unique opportunity!

Program Details:

• 2 – Online 30-minute 1:1 individual consultations with a certified health coach
• 6 – Online 75-minute group sessions
• Intro Webinar: February 24, 2026 @ 7:00pm ET
• Group Sessions: March 3 – April 7, each Tuesday @ 7:00pm ET

Commitment:

• Attend all sessions and the individual coaching sessions
