Optimal patient outcomes are often complex and multifaceted. Patients who undergo jaw surgery for the treatment and correction of these problems frequently experience remarkable results, provided that the processes of diagnosis, evaluation, and treatment are comprehensive and thorough. Unfortunately, surgical intervention is frequently regarded as a last resort, pursued only after exploring all alternative options, even when evidence suggests that surgery is the most effective path forward. This presentation with Dr. Movahed promises to illuminate the critical aspects of evaluating patients for surgery, facilitating meaningful conversations regarding treatment options, and providing invaluable resources for referrals.
