Dr Jill Meyer will discuss the effect of airway and oral posture on facial growth and occlusion. She will show orthotropic® and orthodontic cases where a multi-disciplinary approach improved the airway and created beautiful, healthy faces and smiles.
Dr Jill Meyer, DDS, graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelors of Science in Nutritional Sciences and Human Development. She went on to earn a DDS degree from the University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine and completed a General Practice Residency program at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital.
Dr. Meyer completed the International Association of Orthodontics two year mini-residency program, the Biobloc Orthotropic® mini-residency, and thousands of hours of continuing education in orthodontics.
At the Hindin Center, Dr. Meyer practices pediatric care and airway centric orthodontics/Orthotropics®. She is one of only a few dentists locally working in the field of Orthotropics,® (or Facial Growth Guidance).
Dr. Meyer sits on the board and is in the secretary position with the International Association of Orthodontics, New England chapter, and is a founding board member of the North American Association of Facial Orthotropics. She is currently an instructor for the IAO/NE mini residency program. Dr. Meyer lectures on pediatric dental health, facial growth, and orthodontics.
