This course is designed to give a solid understanding of our process of assessing, screening, and diagnosing sleep disordered breathing. Attendees will spend several days immersed in our individualized, function based approach, including hands on suture training, live surgical demonstrations and engaging lectures.
Day one will commence with lecture and an overview on how to assess, diagnose, and treat the entire spectrum of sleep-disordered breathing. Also covering when, why, and how to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver optimized care.
Day two will have a live surgical component with a focus on improving the outcomes of tongue-tie release surgeries through lecture, workshop, group discussion, and live demonstrations of surgical and therapeutic techniques.
Day three will delve into suture training, and the clinical applications of myofunctional therapy – including hands on assessments. Expect to learn examination techniques through hands on evaluations and live demonstrations. Additionally, there will be a key focus on operational implementation best practices.
