The Sleep Continuum for Hygienists and Myofunctional Therapists – University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine

April 25 - June 7

Join Drs. Jeff Hindin and John Tucker for this two-part Continuum for Hygienists and Myofunctional Therapists to increase their knowledge of Sleep-Related Breathing Disorders and Airway Dysfunction. Learn with didactic, problem-based and hands-on education with leaders in Dental Sleep Medicine and Airway Dentistry.

Objectives –  Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:

  • Learn the clinical signs of airway and sleep issues
  • Elevate your skills and set yourself apart to help patients
  • Understand treatment options for patients
  • Recognize medical and pharmacological signs of airway and sleep
  • Master the process and data needed for diagnosis

Course Dates + Times:

  • Session One – April 25 and 26, 2025
  • Session Two – June 6 and 7, 2025
  • 8 am-5 pm each day

Tuition: $2995 / Credit: 32 Hours

To receive your certificate, it’s necessary to attend both sessions.

There will be a certificate for those participants who complete the training and pass a written examination. Qualified participants can apply for advanced standing in the American Academy of Physiological Medicine and Dentistry.
