This webinar explores the root causes of rising childhood chronic conditions through the Total Load model. Drawing on research and real-world case studies, Beth Lambert illustrates how reducing cumulative stressors—environmental, biological, and emotional—can lead to profound healing and prevention for today’s children.
Learning Objectives:
· Understand the Total Load Model – Participants will learn how the accumulation of environmental, biological, and psychosocial stressors contributes to the onset of chronic health and developmental conditions in children.
· Identify Modifiable Stressors – Attendees will be able to recognize key contributors to a child’s total load, including toxins, infections, nutrition, and emotional stress, and understand how to reduce or eliminate these factors.
· Apply a Systems-Based Healing Approach – Learners will explore integrative and personalized strategies rooted in functional and lifestyle medicine to help reverse or prevent chronic conditions in children by addressing total load.
Beth Lambert attended Oxford University, graduated from Williams College, and holds a master’s degree from Fairfield University and an Executive Leadership certificate from the Harvard Kennedy School.
Author, educator and former healthcare consultant, Beth Lambert has monitored and documented the escalating rates of childhood chronic conditions for 15 years. Her first book, A Compromised Generation, provides a thorough analysis of the origins of this modern health crisis and documents how modifications to environmental and lifestyle factors can profoundly influence health outcomes, including full disease reversal. Beth is also the co-author of Brain Under Attack: A Resource for Parents and Caregivers of Children with PANS, PANDAS, and Autoimmune Encephalitis.
Beth is the Founder and Executive Director of Documenting Hope a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that focuses on root cause healing solutions for children’s chronic health and developmental issues. Documenting Hope conducts independent research studies that examine the cumulative impact or “total load” of environmental stressors on children’s health and their mitigation through personalized and systems-based treatment approaches. Beth is the mother of three children and is passionate about raising awareness about the connection between daily choices, human health, and planetary health.
