From 1984 to 1989, she was president of the herb industry’s trade association, AHPA, helping to develop industry standards, a code of ethics and herb safety and identification guidelines. From 2003 to 2011 she served as Executive Director of United Plant Savers, a non-profit environmental educational organization dedicated to the preservation, conservation and restoration of medicinal plants and their habitats in the US and Canada.
Her education is in Nutrition (Cornell, 1968, B.S.) with graduate nutrition science studies at Texas Women’s University (1974). Ongoing, she is a student and advocate of holistic health practices, optimal nutrition and socially responsible ‘green’ business practices.
Ms. LeMole is also the daughter of a New York dentist who believed that the role of dentistry went far beyond chairside repairs and restorations. Working with AAPMD, it is her belief that we will build a strong and vital Dental-Medical alliance among interdisciplinary practitioners and patients seeking whole health care.
