Persistent symptoms after COVID-19 infection can include changes in the cardiovascular, respiratory, gastrointestinal, musculoskeletal, skin and nervous systems as well as brain fog, fatigue, and anxiety/ depression. The wide array of symptoms can make it difficult for clinicians to organize their treatment plan. After careful analysis of the existing literature in addition to anecdotal evidence, Johnson & Johnson Physical Therapy (JJPT) conducted a retrospective case series to determine the effectiveness of their Long COVID manual therapy protocol. This presentation will describe pathological causes, evaluation techniques and manual therapy interventions for Long COVID including cases from the JJPT case series.
